The vegetarian comment has meaning/purpose! At the end of Kennilworthy’s book in the about author section, it is noted that he “enjoys vegetarian dishes” (or something similar). Tyler, who asked the question, is a co-host on Evanna Lynch’s vegan podcast the chickpeeps, where they’ve speculated about whether or not newt would be a vegan.
Also, Eric your pronunciation of “protego” made me lol. Out of context your pronunciation made sense, but its pro-tay-go like the spell. It’s Tyler’s foundation that uses fantastic beasts as a means for his vegan non-profit. Anyways, thought you might want the background! They just discussed it in this week’s episode of The Chickpeeps. 🙂
